On the air and brewing up community! The new net, “QSOs and Coffee,” is making waves on the Little Mountain Repeater at 147.210 MHz. Open to all Amateur Radio operators, this net is committed to encouraging more women to dive into the exciting world of amateur radio. Adding to the charm, all Net Control Operators are women, starting with Doris Hawkins, KQ4UHD, who hosted the inaugural session with licensed female operators and family members, adhering to FCC regulations.

The net meets on alternating Mondays at 9:00 a.m. As the enthusiasm grows, the aim is to transition to weekly meetings every Monday at 9:00 a.m. So, grab your coffee, tune in, and join the lively conversation!
